Geneva Giving Supports Orthopaedic Trauma Association

Geneva’s Community Giving Program recently awarded $2,000 to support registration fees for military attendees for the Orthopaedic Trauma Association 2016 Annual Meeting from 5-8 October in National Harbor, Maryland. Geneva’s support will specifically cover registration fees for eight military orthopaedic surgeons.

The Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) is the largest national organization devoted to the care of orthopaedic trauma patients in the United States. The mission of the OTA is to promote excellence in care for the injured patient, through the provision of scientific forms and support of musculoskeletal research and education of orthopaedic surgeons and the public. OTA organization consists of over 2,000 trauma trained orthopaedic surgeons of which over 120 are Military Orthopaedic Surgeon Members. OTA believes research and education are critical in improving outcomes of orthopaedic trauma patients.
