Senior Client Relationship Manager - Southern Region

Jennifer Johnson

Jennifer Johnson is a Senior Client Partnership Manager with 25 years of experience in the research administration and data collection management field, specializing in strategic engagement initiatives with industry, public/private business, and sponsor and academic institutions. She is an expert in data collection, data management, and biological specimen collection and design. She garners a wealth of research administration competencies over an array of scientific disciplines in military medicine including orthopedics, behavioral and mental health, combat casualty care, military readiness, traumatic brain injury, and industry-sponsored research.

Previously, she worked at the Henry Jackson Foundation as a Research Associate II where she managed research activities for a 2+ year/$500,000 Centers for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine grant and a 3 year/$1.35M Defense Medical Research and Development Program grant to study headache and brain injury biomarkers in a military population. Additionally, she worked at North Carolina-based RTI International for over 10 years as a Survey Manager managing small and large complex data operations and mixed-mode studies. She developed complex project procedures, materials, and manuals; conducted site audits; and trained and managed support staff.

In her current role, Ms. Johnson fosters relationships with site partners and research teams in the southern region including Naval Medical Center-Portsmouth, Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, Womack Army Medical Center, and Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Criminal Justice from Meredith College and a Master’s Degree in Sociology from North Carolina Central University.
