Dee Robinson Honored for Extraordinary Innovation and Teamwork

2023 Q2 Wave the Flag Winner

Geneva recognizes excellence in employees who go above and beyond the normal scope of their work while demonstrating Geneva’s core values and advancing military medicine. The Wave the Flag award is presented quarterly to an employee who exceeds expectations and exhibits Geneva’s core values: Innovation, Quality, Superior Customer Service, Integrity, Teamwork, and Respect for All.

Dee Robinson, a Recruiting Administrator with the Corporate office from Alexandria, VA, received the 2023 Q2 Wave the Flag award. Dee was nominated by her fellow colleague, Kate Yardy, Talent Sourcer, for exhibiting Geneva’s core values of Innovation and Teamwork.

“Dee spearheaded the development of virtual career fairs, a company first for Geneva,” said Kate. “She has a love of training and teaching that I am thankful for.” Another colleague shared that Dee takes the time to learn the new positions she is recruiting for and brings in the most qualified candidates for the hiring teams. She is always open to ideas and brings expertise from several industries.

“Dee is ambitious and altruistic,” says Senior Recruiting Manager Penina Tinae. “When the organization was in need of hiring contract recruiters and filling internal departmental roles, Dee took the initiative to offer suggestions on the interview process and questions to help with assessment, taking the task upon herself to aid in a heavy workload and providing training. Dee is also a member of the DEIB Committee. Her devotion, proactivity, and willingness to take initiative positively impacted recruiting.”
