Allison Edinger Recognized for Integrity, Quality, Innovation, Teamwork and Respect for All
2024 Q2 Wave the Flag Awardee
Geneva recognizes excellence in employees who go above and beyond the normal scope of their work while demonstrating Geneva’s core values and advancing military medicine. The Wave the Flag award is presented quarterly to an employee who exceeds expectations and exhibits Geneva’s core values: Innovation, Quality, Superior Customer Service, Integrity, Teamwork, and Respect for All.
Allison Edinger, Research Associate III at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA receives the 2024 Q2 Wave the Flag award. Allison has since been promoted to Program Manager. Allison was nominated by Dr. Jason Bingham for exhibiting Geneva’s core values of Integrity, Quality, Innovation, Teamwork, and Respect for All.
“Allison has become the go-to leader on our research team,” said Dr. Bingham. “She has become a mentor to our general surgery residents during their research year. She is instrumental in their professional development and guides them in the scientific method. Additionally, she expertly navigates complex inter-department relationships, strengthening our reputation both within and outside our organization.” Dr. Bingham continues, “Ms. Edinger consistently demonstrates broad and deep knowledge of the research funding landscape and ongoing multidisciplinary research capabilities at Madigan to facilitate these collaborations which are furthered through her supportive, friendly, and generous demeanor. She has grown well beyond her defined role and has become an indispensable team leader. I rely upon her heavily and she consistently exceeds my expectations.”
