2016 Q4 Wave the Flag Recipient Seshamalini Srinivasan

Congratulations to Seshamalini Srinivasan, Geneva’s 2016 4th quarter Wave the Flag Recipient!

An excerpt from her nomination states:

“Seshamalini – or ‘Sesh’ as we all call her – is a fabulous representative of our organization. Every day she embodies Geneva’s core values of Integrity, Quality, Innovation, Superior Customer Service, Teamwork, and Respect for All. She is always professional, knowledgeable, and willing to lend a hand.

Sesh went above and beyond in the fourth quarter of 2016. Geneva’s HR team held a retirement and benefits meeting on base. The meeting featured two of Geneva’s retirement advisors, and one of these gentleman failed to bring the proper identification required for base access. I called around to about twenty different staff members on base, no one could find a way to help. When I contacted Sesh, she was able to quickly help us find a solution. She dropped the important work she was doing to find an active service member. Together, they went across base to the visitor’s center to vouch for the advisor and get him access. Sesh could have been done at that point, but took it a step further, escorting the financial advisor to the meeting, making sure he didn’t get lost on such a large base.

The HR team is eternally grateful for Sesh and her dedication to our organization.”

The Geneva Foundation’s Wave the Flag Award is a peer-to-peer recognition program that seeks to acknowledge employee excellence. Employees are nominated based on demonstration of Geneva’s core values and mission of promoting and supporting the advancement of military medicine. The Award is given quarterly throughout the year.
