Matt Rueckert, MA, MBA
Matt Rueckert is a seasoned executive and brings 25 years of experience leading financial and operational teams to the Chief Operating Officer role at Geneva. He is responsible for the leadership of the daily operations of the organization to include finance, information management & technology, security, procurement, and other key functions for the success of the organization. Mr. Rueckert partners with the President & CEO and Board of Directors in shaping strategy aligned with long-term business goals and focuses on successfully operationalizing that strategy while ensuring high productivity and performance. He has the day-to-day responsibility for planning, controlling, and overseeing financial and critical operational activities for the organization.
He has held several leadership roles, most recently as Executive Vice President at Urban Strategies, LLC, where he directed strategic, financial, and operational functions across 12 locations in the United States and Puerto Rico to advance its life-changing mission. With Urban Strategies, Matt had full P&L responsibility for the organization, divisions, and programs with direct reports in finance, accounting, human resources, information technology, facilities, business development, procurement, contracts/subcontracts management, and the Program Management Office. Prior to that, Matt held positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, Macro International (ICF), and the Research Triangle Institute.
Mr. Rueckert holds an MBA and an MA in Applied Social Research from West Virginia University, and a BA in Sociology from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
