Chuck Bell

Chuck Bell serves as the Director of Government Contracting for Geneva. He is an experienced leader in driving growth and capturing new business with over 20 years of experience in federal health business development. Chuck’s career is marked by his ability to deliver results and establish an effective and repeatable process within the business development function. His strategic initiatives have demonstrated his ability to increase government contract captures, diversify client and services portfolios, and refine an industry best practice go-to-market process. He has a deep expertise in pursuing and capturing a broad spectrum of mission-critical health information technology and health research initiatives within federal agencies.

He formally served as the Director of Growth and Business Development at Amida Technology Solutions, Inc. In that role, Chuck led the business development function, focusing on data interoperability, health claims automation, and advanced analytics, including AI and machine learning. Under his leadership, Amida achieved significant revenue growth, securing key contracts with the Veterans Benefits Administration and multiple awards of innovative AI-centric solutions presented to the Department of Defense (DoD) via an Other Transaction Authority (OTA).

Prior to his role at Amida, Chuck served as Vice President of Business Development at Social & Scientific Systems, Inc., where he implemented a new go-to-market strategy and led the capture of new federal contracts within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) health research and public health portfolios. His ability to refine and standardize business development processes across organizations has consistently resulted in increased win rates and successful contract awards.

Throughout his career, Chuck has been recognized for his analytical skills, rigorous process management, and ability to mentor high-performing teams. His extensive network and reputation for collaboration and critical thinking have made him a respected figure in the federal health contracting space. Chuck’s experience spans multiple federal agencies, including the HHS, Veterans Affairs (VA), and the DoD, where his contributions have consistently driven meaningful contracts growth and diversification.

Chuck holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Washington College of Maryland and has completed graduate-level coursework in Technology Management at the University of Maryland, and continuing professional education in Public Health from Stanford Medicine’s Center for Health Education.
