Cristina Martinez Recognized for Extraordinary Quality and Superior Customer Service

2023 Q3 Wave the Flag Winner

Geneva recognizes excellence in employees who go above and beyond the normal scope of their work while demonstrating Geneva’s core values and advancing military medicine. The Wave the Flag award is presented quarterly to an employee who exceeds expectations and exhibits Geneva’s core values: Innovation, Quality, Superior Customer Service, Integrity, Teamwork, and Respect for All.

Cristina Martinez, a Research Portfolio Administrator with the Corporate office, received the 2023 Q3 Wave the Flag award. Cristina was nominated by Principal Investigator Dr. Tony Yuan for exhibiting Geneva’s core values of Quality and Superior Customer Service.

“Ms. Martinez has exhibited exceptional leadership in helping with training and being a corporate resource for my team,” said Dr. Tony Yuan. “She is always available to my Program Manager to answer questions. Recently, she led the team in helping me build programmatic infrastructure so we are more efficient.”

“Cristina has been instrumental in assisting the portfolio in resolving obstacles and challenges in all areas,” said Cristina’s Manager, Wendy Tawater. “She has a passionate desire to help the team as well as others outside of our portfolio. She represents honor, integrity, and hard work, and she stands as one of the primary examples of talent we wish to nurture in other future candidates within the team and throughout Geneva. We are honored that she is part of our group and look forward to continuing to support her personal and professional growth.”

Congratulations, Cristina and the other Q3 nominees!
