Michael Hansch is the Chair of The Geneva Foundation’s Board of Directors.


For over 30 years, Mr. Hansch has worked in the banking industry and in early 2006 left Bank of America as Senior Vice President and Manager for the southwest Washington and Oregon Private Banking. Mr. Hansch received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Washington State University, holds a Masters of Business Administration from Gonzaga University, and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Mr. Hansch is also a graduate of the National Association of Credit and Financial Management from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.

In addition to his banking expertise, Mr. Hansch has built a strong background in service to his community. He served as Chairman & Board Member, Boys and Girls Clubs of Pierce County; Past Chairman & Board Member, Franciscan Foundation; Board Member, Goodwill Industries; Past Founding Chairman and Board Member, Goodwill Heritage Foundation; Past President, Past Board Member, Past Auction Chairman, Member, Rotary; and Past President, Pierce County Community Development Corporation.
