Dr. Cliff Robertson

Dr. Cliff Robertson is a member of The Geneva Foundation’s Board of Directors.


Dr. Cliff Robertson serves as the SVP of Divisional Operations for Catholic Health Initiatives and as the CEO of the CHI Health. CHI Health is made up of 15 acute care facilities, 850 employed providers, Creighton University Medical Center, and the Creighton Medical School faculty. As CEO, Dr. Robertson oversees the strategic direction and operations of CHI Health as well as participating in the Catholic Health Initiatives national operations group. He previously served as the COO of Franciscan Health System (FHS), a seven hospital, 50 clinic integrated health system in Washington state.

Dr. Robertson was formerly the SVP/Physician Development and President/ Chief Medical Officer of Franciscan Medical Group from 1999 to 2009 and part of FHS since 1995. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ohio State College of Medicine, and completed both his Residency and Internship in Family Practice at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Dr. Robertson has a MBA from Pacific Lutheran University. He serves on the Board of Directors for CarenaMD Inc. and the Catholic Health Initiatives Institute for Research and Innovation.
