Information Management and Security Director
Mo Hafiz, MBA, CISSP
Mo Hafiz has over twenty years of experience leading IT initiatives ranging from applications development and enterprise systems administration to cybersecurity governance and project management. As Geneva’s Information Management and Security (IMS) Director, he is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of Geneva’s strategic, comprehensive enterprise, IT risk management program, and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). Mr. Hafiz provides the vision and leadership necessary to manage risk to the organization and ensure business alignment, effective governance, and operational stability within the ITS Department. He oversees security management, provides oversight of information systems in support of customer needs, and actively contributes to the safeguarding of all Geneva network systems. He has deep experience in holistic project management, service delivery, risk management, and team leadership.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hafiz has led global technology initiatives in the private and government sectors at organizations such as Vulcan Inc., Microsoft, the City of Seattle, and the DoD. He has also provided consultations to organizations such as Coca-Cola, Polaris, Halliburton, Sony, Starbucks, and General Mills.
Mr. Hafiz completed his AACSB accredited MBA at West Texas A&M University, graduating Cum Laude, and holds more than 16 technical certifications such as the elite CISSP cybersecurity certification and multiple Microsoft certifications such as MCITP: DBA, MCITP and MCTS. He has an active DoD Security Clearance.
