Miranda Bethay

Miranda Bethay is an accomplished leader in research administration and program operations, with over 15 years of experience supporting mission-aligned biomedical research across government, academia, and industry. As Associate Director of Geneva’s Department of Programs, she oversees complex award portfolios, leading high-volume contract negotiations and driving lifecycle management strategies for DoD-funded clinical and preclinical research.

Miranda brings deep expertise in regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and the development of research infrastructure. She has held progressive leadership roles at Geneva, most recently serving as Associate Director of Operations for the 4D Bio3 program, where she led strategic planning, performance optimization, and the development of cross-functional teams. Before that, she held senior roles in grants and contracts at Seattle Children’s Research Institute, MultiCare Health System, and Huron Consulting Group.

Known for her collaborative approach and operational precision, Miranda has supported hundreds of research proposals and awards, with a strong track record of aligning deliverables to DoD priorities and streamlining execution in complex regulatory environments. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Cell, Molecular and Developmental Biology and American Ethnic Studies from the University of Washington.
