Ana Trujillo, MA

Ana M. Trujillo is the Director of Finance & Accounting at Geneva. With over 16 years of diverse financial experience in cost analysis, budgetary planning, research sponsored contracts, and grants accounting and compliance, she has unrivaled success as a leader within financial organizations. Her drive, passion, and versatility have ushered her success in advancing and exceeding career and organizational goals. Ana’s ability to develop highly productive teams makes her a pillar of organizations.

Ana was formerly the Associate Director, Sponsored Projects Cost Analysis and Compliance at Georgetown University, beginning her career there as Manager, Sponsored Projects Financial Operations. During this time, she directed accounting and reporting operations ensuring procedural and policy compliance, data accuracy, and contract adherence for the $1.4B University portfolio. Her efforts enabled critical medical and legal research advancing biological life science and constitutional and governance issues. Prior to joining Georgetown, Ana was a Senior Cost Accountant for Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, a non-profit organization focused on medical research. There she supervised and managed the cost and compliance analysis, contract financial reporting and budget forecasting team overseeing the $967M budget.

Ana started her undergraduate studies in economics and development in Medellin, Colombia at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana. She transferred to Northern llinois University where graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. In 2019 she was accepted to Georgetown University where she achieved a Master’s in International Business and Policy.
