Allison Connelly, MBA

As a Senior Strategic Communications Director with 10+ years expertise in nonprofit brand building, strategic partnerships, and strategic planning, Allison Connelly leads Geneva’s purpose-led brand built on innovation, integrity, and engagement to advance military medical research worldwide.

In her current role, Ms. Connelly develops and leads Geneva’s corporate strategy and communications to support strategic business needs, advance organizational brand identity, and increase Geneva’s visibility, reach, and impact across key audiences. Ms. Connelly is also responsible for building and strengthening strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to include the Board of Directors, Scientific Advisory Board, and key external partners. Ms. Connelly plays a key role in the development and execution of Geneva’s strategic initiatives, organizational goals, and high-priority operational issues to promote Geneva’s growth and sustainability.

With a background in fundraising, communications, and Board development, Ms. Connelly joined Geneva in 2011 as Fund Development Manager, quickly realizing the value of integrating dynamic marketing and communications strategies for cross-organizational growth and promotion. Prior to joining Geneva, Ms. Connelly served as Fund Development Manager for Washington Environmental Council (WEC) in Seattle, Washington.

Allison has a BA in International Development Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and an MBA from Eastern Washington University. She holds several nonprofit board positions in the Spokane, WA area.
