The Geneva Foundation provides proposal development support to researchers in the areas of federal grants, federal contracts, and industry sponsored clinical trials. Our pre-award support is offered at no cost to Investigators. We simply ask that you allow our team to administer your award.

Geneva’s proposal development support teams:

  • Identify federal and non-federal funding opportunities
  • Assist with the completion of necessary application forms to include biosketches, feasibility forms, and questionnaires
  • Collect the necessary supporting documents from team members and collaborators
  • Provide a full review of the research plan, and review the application for compliance, flow, and grammar
  • Prepare strong, justifiable budgets in accordance with governing grant and contract regulations
  • Format, package, and submit the proposal prior to the deadline

The Geneva Foundation partners with military investigators across the globe to identify funding opportunities and submit winning research proposals to federal sponsors. Geneva is experienced in serving as a prime recipient and sub-recipient (or subcontractor) for research awards and programs including grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, congressional special interest programs, and large national research consortiums.

Funding mechanisms include grants, cooperative agreements and contracts. Geneva supports research funded by agencies such as:

  • Orthopaedic Trauma Research Program (OTRP)

  • The Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED)

Geneva’s proposal development services help to:

  • Identify federal funding opportunities by performing customized funding searches
  • Serve as a liaison with the sponsor for gathering information and marketing the research plan
  • Review proposals for scientific content and assist in the development of abstract, background, and narrative sections
  • Develop the administrative components of the application and edit proposals for content, grammar, and completeness
  • Develop strong, justifiable budgets in accordance with governing grant/contract regulations
  • Coordinate participation of subcontractors and consultants
  • Submit proposals on the researcher’s behalf

Geneva successfully connects industry, foundation, and non-federal sponsors with military researchers to conduct single and multi-center clinical trials. Our services include efforts to:

  • Identify industry and non-federal funding opportunities & clinical trial opportunities
  • Review sponsor guidelines and serve as a liaison with the sponsor
  • Promote military researcher’s unique capabilities
  • Prepare, negotiate, and execute contracts and cooperative agreements (CRADAs)
  • Prepare strong, justifiable budgets
  • Coordinate participation of subcontractors and consultants
  • Recruit and retain skilled research support personnel
  • Assist with regulatory package preparation and submission
