The Geneva Foundation’s Kathy Carey, Regional Client Relationship Manager, and Randal LeBlanc, Program Manager, will attend the SAMHS (San Antonio Military Health System) and Universities Research Forum on Friday, 24 July.
San Antonio is a unique city, serving as a leader in the Department of Defense, government, and civilian healthcare research through institutions like the San Antonio Military Health System (SAMHS), Institute of Surgical Research, The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), and The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). These institutions invite you to the first annual SAMHS (San Antonio Military Health System) and Universities Research Forum, a local research learning meeting to showcase the work of trainees, faculty, staff and students from multiple disciplines.
With the theme “Evidence-based Practice & Research in Healthcare: Encouraging Collaborative Partnerships” forum participants will have the opportunity to present and share their research, to earn CME/CEUs, and to connect with scholars from SAMHS and academic institutions for possible future education and research collaborations.
Research* will be presented in paper and poster sessions along four focus areas/learning tracks:
• Regenerative Medicine
• Pre-Hospital/Emergency/Trauma/Critical Care
• Behavioral Health
• Public Health/Wellness
This inaugural forum will be hosted at the UTSA Main Campus on Friday, July 24, 2015, from 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
