GENEVA VOLUNTEERS AT NAVY-AIR FORCE HALF MARATHON

MISSION IN ACTION

17 September 2017

The Geneva Foundation volunteers at the Navy-Air Force Half Marathon.

Geneva was proud to support the Navy Air Force Half Marathon on 17 September in Washington, DC. Geneva employees participated in the race, while employees, friends, and family volunteered at Geneva Water Station #3!

The Navy-Air Force Half Marathon is an annual race hosted by Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR). This prestigious race began in 2004 as the Navy 5-Miler and has grown to over 10,000 runners! The mission of the race is to foster and support high productivity for our Navy-Air Force audience through mental and physical fitness, personal growth, a sense of community, positive values, and family well-being. 2017 marks the 6th year of the half marathon, the 14th year of the 5-miler, and Geneva’s first year of participating in the race.

Geneva welcomes the opportunity to connect with those who are not yet partnering with us! Please contact Geneva’s Marketing Team to learn more about opportunities for collaboration.
